ZumuHQ Intranet
This project involved the development of the Zumu Company Intranet, from inception and definition through development to full completion and full use by staff and clients day in and day out. Developed while I was an employee of Zumu. While it is the intranet so I can't link to the guts, the juice, the exciting stuff, I can link to the outside of www.zumuhq.com, and I can describe it further here.
"ZumuHQ" integrates with the daily processing of $100,000 direct debit and credit card batch files, and literally 1000's of individual accounts across Australia and New Zealand. For the clients and staff of Zumu, it offers a real-time dashboard with 42 metrics each which can drilled down and be graphed over time, attractive and meaningful reports output straight to pdf, integration with credit card gateways for real time credit card processing, a unique user profiling system and solid login/security framework securing user groups and roles - and more.
LifeConnexions.com.au
Connexions is a wonderful company who recently developed the desire to grow their business further and through word of mouth came to ask me to help them use the interwebs to do just that! This is fully designed by own hands, cut up and wrapped around the ColdFusion SavaCMS. The client will be attending and speaking at a national health forum in early October where he will launch the site officially. Busy as they are, they have not supplied all the content yet but from now until October 10 we'll all be working to ensure this becomes an engaging experience for site visitors.
"Zumu Nation" eNewsletter
To the experienced web developer's eye, the code of this eNewsletter would be ghastly! Tabled-based design, inline css, spacer gifs - the works! But to the cutting-edge eMarketers you'll recognise it as the perils of HTML Emails! Trying to design a newsletter that is displayed correctly in the 9+ popular email clients is definitely a nightmare for some.. but not me :)
Bring on the challenge! This email design is now used as a template for weekly emails distributed by Zumu, making it through spam filters and being rendered clearly and accurately. Even in (gasp!) Outlook 2007 and (shock!) Gmail - the two worst offenders of all - this design is 95% correct and degrades gracefully.
The content for this eNewsletter was also my responsibility and thus written at my keyboard... most weeks ;)
"Service Offering" Corporate Brochure Content
This January 2008 corporate brochure was a great success. The design and printing were outsourced, the content written by my good self. You'll notice at this stage of my life I loved long sentences with many a comma :) Hell - I still enjoy those now LOL. The content of this brochure formed the foundation for a rebranding and repositioning of Zumu's services in 2008 and they have been enjoying steady growth since.
